The target company's private equity ownership was seeking a liquidity event.

Brookline negotiated a compelling offer to the target company's ownership group. Brookline assisted the buyer in the negotiation of an acceptable letter of intent and later definitive transaction agreement that achieved the sellers' objectives and gave the acquirer a more defensible US footprint.

Brookline's private equity client acquired 100% of the target company using its pre-existing drug and alcohol investment platform. This investment put the acquirer in solid position for a larger divestiture through multiple expansion. The sellers received an attractive return on the fund's investment and a much need liquidity event for its Limited Partners.
